| I know what you're thinking. "Stickman artist, huh? Well, you can't really call it art, it's just a circle with five lines. So why is this guy even on deviantArt in the first place?" I'll tell you why, it was because of a conspiracy to overthrow some asshole mods on a forum I used to go to (and I still do, but it's not as... lively anymore). We were planning to attack them on different sites like Youtube and dA and such, but after I spotted a gaping hole in the plan (which I'm surprised no one else found), we had no choice but to drop it. So I'm sitting here with a useless dA account, so my thought? Better some crappy 'art' than no art. So do I enjoy making these comics? Hell no, I think they suck. Do I enjoy the feedback I get on them? I suppose, I mean for some reason, people found them funny. And I suppose it's gotta be true: how else would I have 50-something watchers and about 10k pageviews as of typing this? I'd like to think my comics have a very wide variety of subjects. It's not just about a video game or two, I have craploads of aspects of life and entertainment and all that jazz mocked in these comics starring pencil-thin people. Even if all of my comics make you frown in disgust (which I have no doubt of), I'm sure there's at least one that you totally relate to and find hysterical. But enough of self-beating and self-appreciation, I personally don't want to affect that many opinions on whether or not someone should like me. That's totally up to you. If you're looking for artistic talent, you're in the wrong fucking place, pal. Then again, if you bothered to look at my page, then you must be one of those people that doesn't care about how something looks as long as it's got wit and sophistication. And I tell ya, those people are the best people on the internet, bar none. tl;dr art sucks, humor's decent, The End. |
